October 16, 2007:

2:00 - 5:00 pm: PRDS Contract Update.
Instructors are Bryant McOmber, PRDS Forms Attorney and Dave Zigal, PRDS Forms Chairperson.

Cost of the class is $20 for members, $40 non-members. Instructors David Zigal, PRDS Forms Committee Chair, and Bryant McOmber, PRDS Attorney. Learn about the substance and content of the PRDS forms.  You will learn how to go from A to Z when using the forms and what you should be doing and not doing.  You will also learn hints to help you with the use of the forms online.

 

October 22, 2007:

1:00 – 4:00 pm.

This 3-hour class will help you figure out your big “why” (why you are in the business), models you can use to plan your 2008 year, how to turn your goals into actions, how to measure your results, etc. We will also cover how to keep your goals in front of you to ensure that you are on track to reach them by year end.

1:30 - 3:00 pm: "Effective Selling Without a Script."

This 8-hour continuing education course details covering industrial and commercial property, evaluation of clients needs, merchandising techniques, including exchange meetings and marketing sessions, and financing strategies for commercial and industrial properties.

 

Tuesday, November 27 Investment Property Analysis 2007

This 8-hour continuing education course details factors influencing investment decisions and investors' objectives. Analyze investment real estate, using valuation processes and approaches. Become acquainted with the cash flow analysis process and the concepts of discounted cash flow and internal rate of return.

 

Wednesday, December 12 2007 Environmental Concerns, Construction Overview and Land Use

This 8-hour continuing education course details the primary concepts of energy efficiency; environmental hazards, and earthquake safety, including the primary of residential construction, the impact of building codes on residential construction, the licensee's role in inspecting property, and the Transfer Disclosure Statement elements of site selection.

 

Tuesday, January 28 2008: Real Property, Tax, and Exchanging

This 8-hour continuing education course details various tax issues involved in owner-occupied residential property. Become familiar with property tax concepts, recognize various potential tax problems, and gain an understanding of state and federal real estate tax law.
