Twenty-five SILVAR members and guests boarded the bus for the Cupertino/Sunnyvale District's Wine Tasting Tour & Lunch on Tuesday. They visited Thomas Fogarty Winery & Vineyards in Woodside and Savannah-Chanelle Vineyards in Saratoga.

At each winery, members and guests were able to taste five to six selections of fine wine. The trip included a picnic lunch sponsored by Mark Falcone of Citibank.

SILVAR President Carolyn Miller, who goes on the District wine tour every year, thanked members for participating in the event. "The good weather, wine, food, and company made it a pleasant day for all," said Miller.
"We're building relationships," added another member of the group, noting they had enjoyed the trip immensely.

Jeni Weaver, who is a new SILVAR member, thanked everyone for being warm and friendly. "I am so happy to be here. You have made me feel so welcome," Weaver told the group.

The District would like to extend a special THANK YOU to this year's sponsors: Mark Falcone, Citibank; Moise Nahouraii of Referral Realty – Cupertino; Bryan Robertson of ARRIVVA; and Jeni Weaver of Guild Mortgage. Special thanks also to Margie Archer of Homeguard.
