Members of the SILVAR's Los Altos/Mountain View District recognized their peers for their achievements on Friday, Jan. 18, at the District's 2007 Achievement Awards.

Achievement Awards are established to recognize the production excellence of Realtors who operate within the guidelines of organized real estate and the local real estate community, and who produce 13 transactions (sales/listings) which close escrow and are reported as a sale on the data base within the designated competitive year. Eligibility is limited to SILVAR members, whose home office is located in Los Altos or Mountain View, where listings are actively serviced.

In addition to receiving Achievement Awards, Marc Roos, Realtor with Intero Real Estate, received the Diamond Award and Elaine Klemm, a Realtor with Alain Pinel Realtors, received the Diamond and Lifetime Awards. The Diamond Award is presented to Realtors who have earned the Achievement Award for 10 consecutive years. The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to Realtors who have earned the Achievement Award for five consecutive years.

Special thanks were conveyed to the 2007 District Council Members: 2007 District Council Chair Toby Vanderbeek, Michelle Brown, John Bialy, Josie Gambera, Harold Hughes, Aileen La Bouff, Julie Rippentrop, Meryle Sussman, Barbara Williams, 2008 District Council Chair Nicholas French and Achievement Award Committee Chair Alicia Nuzzo.
