Los Gatos/Saratoga District Thanks One Brian and Welcomes Another

Approximately 180 people attended SILVAR’s Los Gatos/Saratoga District’s annual Winter Ball held Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Los Gatos Opera House. The event ushered the holiday season and also marked the passing of the gavel from 2006 Los Gatos/Saratoga District Chair Brian Bernasconi to 2007 Los Gatos/Saratoga Chair Brian Crane.

The event featured a Tommy Bahama Style and a delicious buffet dinner, which was then followed by a night of dancing and music provided by Busta-Groove.

A number of Realtors and Affiliates thanked Bernasconi on behalf of the Los Gatos/Saratoga District, which has approximately 1,500 Realtor members and 200 affiliate members. His dedication, enthusiasm and responsibility were some of many attributes they used to describe Bernasconi. Thanking him for his service, Los Gatos Realtors and affiliates presented Bernasconi with a new tennis racket, and when he opened the package, tennis balls came flying at him from everywhere.

Bernasconi thanked all the members of the District, noting, “I couldn’t have done it without your help too.”

Brian Crane, who is the broker and manager of Intero Real Estate in Los Gatos, thanked the membership for giving him the opportunity to chair the District. Crane said he is looking forward to assuming the district chair position. He said his goals for the upcoming year would center on the three Cs – Commerce, Cooperation and Community.

“I look forward to an awesome 2007,” said Crane.
