Los Altos/Mountain View District Ends Year with “Survival Party”

Thursday, December 10, 2009

2009 Los Altos/Mountain View District co-chairs Nick French and Sallie Morgan, along with Tim Anderson, explain the rules of Trivial Pursuit to the competing teams.

Members of SILVAR’s Los Altos/Mountain View District ended the year in celebration that best described 2009. They called it a “Survival Party” and donned hard hats to underline the fact that 2009 was, indeed, a very hard year for real estate.

Despite the tough year, this district made it fun by meeting at Maltby’s in Los Altos last Thursday afternoon, and with food, drink and lots of laughter, teams faced each other in a game of Trivial Pursuit. 2009 District co-chairs Nick French and Sallie Morgan, along with Tim Anderson, laid down the rules and teams from Campi Properties, Inc., Coldwell Banker, Sereno Group, Alain Pinel Realtors and a couple of teams with affiliates vied for the title of winner. The Campi Properties team of Gary Campi hoped to reclaim the title, as last spring two of the company’s teams were the top winners in the District’s Office Feud, but alas, they lost to Alain Pinel Realtors’ team of all women, with Judy Bogart, Erika Ameri, Sherri Hughes.

The place was packed and ringing with laughter and conversation. Members clapped for a a job well done by the 2009 District co-chairs Nick French and Sallie Morgan. 2009 SILVAR President Julia Truesdale Keady thanked both French and Morgan for their service and hard work all year. She also thanked the Los Altos/Mountain View District Council members.
