Palo Alto District Holiday Breakfast and 2011 Awards

2011 Palo Alto District Chair Nancy MacLeod was named the District's REALTOR® of the Year and her husband Guillaume Peters, was named the District's Affiliate of the Year.

The Palo Alto District held its annual holiday breakfast and awards presentation last Friday, December 2. 2011 District Chair Nancy MacLeod thanked members of the district for attending this year’s tour meetings and district events.

MacLeod thanked all the volunteers and sponsors of this year’s events. She especially thanked this year’s District Council members for their service. In addition to MacLeod, members of the 2011 Palo Alto District Council include Jane Volpe, Palo Alto District Council Chair-Elect; Dante Drummond, Past Chair; Jeff Beltramo, RSVP & Membership; Kym Colyer, Special Events; Michael Dreyfus, At-large; Desiree Docktor, Community Outreach PiE; Tim Foy, Broker/Manager; Sejal Parekh, Affiliate Co-chair; Guillaume Peters, Affiliate Co-chair; Sara Spang, Tour; Lee Smith, LGR; and Amy Sung, Education.

The following members were recognized for their valuable service to the district this year: Desiree Docktor, 2011 Community Outreach Award; Sara Spang, 2011 Committee Chair of the Year; Judy Ellis, 2011 Spirit of SILVAR; Guillaume Peters, 2011 Affiliate of the Year; and Nancy MacLeod, 2011 Palo Alto REALTOR® of the Year.

The awards presentation was preceded by musical entertainment provided by Steve Gill of Steve & Friends, who sang songs like Try to Remember and Camelot and connected them to the life of a REALTOR® here in Silicon Valley.
