New Headquarters for Silicon Valley REALTORS®Trade Association Moves to Larger Office in CupertinoThursday, June 30, 2005
Cupertino, CA – The Silicon Valley Association of Realtors (SILVAR), the trade association of the real estate industry on the Mid-Peninsula and in Silicon Valley, has opened its new headquarters on Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino. The new building provides larger office space and more training facilities than the former office in Los Altos. It allows SILVAR to better assist its rapidly growing membership, according to association officials. This week, the 3,800+ member Realtor association and homeowner advocacy group moved to its new, 6,500 square foot ground floor offices at 19400 Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino from a smaller office building on South San Antonio Road in Los Altos, which the association had outgrown over the past four years. "The new location provides large training and education facilities, plus ample meeting space," said Willi Krauss, SILVAR’s 2005 president. "It enables us to provide enhanced services for our members, like in-house training and presentations, and is centrally located for our growing membership," she said. "This is a big step forward for our association." The SILVAR president used the opportunity to thank the City of Los Altos, City Council members and the downtown merchants and businesses at the former location for their "strong support" of the real estate association during its tenure in Los Altos. Krauss added: "We are thrilled about the warm welcome that our trade association, which represents the members of one of Silicon Valley’s strongest industries, has received in Cupertino."
