Palo Alto District Celebrates 2014 Fall Fling
The Palo Alto District celebrated its accomplishments during the year and recognized this year's volunteers at the District's annual Fall Fling this week. Approximately 140 members attended Wednesday's event at the Palo Alto Masonic Lodge, including well-wishers from other SILVAR districts.
Palo Alto District Chair Jeff Beltramo served as host, along with District Chair-elect Robert Reid. They thanked members for their support, recognized those who served on the current year's District Council, and introduced the 2015 District Council. They also encouraged members to sign up for a committee and urged them to continue their involvement in District events and programs next year.
Members of the 2014 Palo Alto District Council are Jeff Beltramo, District Chair; Robert Reid, District Chair-elect; Sara Spang, Past Chair; Nadr Essabhoy, Broker/Manager Chair; Lee Smith, LGR (Local Government Relations) Chair; Amy Sung, Education Chair; Desiree Docktor, RSVP (REALTOR® Service Volunteer Program) Chair; Larry Tringali, Affiliate Chair; Bob Stelzer, Director At-large; and Joan Chintz, Social/Special Events Chair.
Many from the 2014 District Council will be serving again next year. The 2015 District Council members include Reid, as District Chair; Beltramo, as Past Chair; Amy Sung, Chair-elect; Nadr Essabhoy, Broker/Manager Chair; Sung, LGR Chair; Larry Tringali, Affiliate Chair; Bob Stelzer, Director At-large; Beltramo, RSVP chair; and Joan Chintz, Social/Special Events Chair.
A highlight of the evening was the special door prize drawing – two tickets to the San Jose Sharks game donated by Larry Tringali of Property Inspection Service. This big prize went to Judy Chao.
