Congratulations to students who just completed the all-day Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) course on Asia/Pacific & International Real Estate on Tuesday with instructor Fanny Y. Chu. The Asia/Pacific and International Real Estate course addresses real estate practices in Asia and the Pacific with emphasis on cultural influences, economic trends and assessment of investment opportunities.

The Asa course is the fifth CIPS course offered by SILVAR this year. This course, along with the courses on Global Real Estate: Local Markets, Global Real Estate: Transaction Tools, Europe & International Real Estate, and The Americas & International Real Estate fulfill the classroom requirements of the CIPS designation. Chu and Christel Silver taught the CIPS courses this year.

Most of the students took all five CIPS courses offered by SILVAR and will soon be eligible to apply for the prestigious NAR CIPS designation. The students who attended the CIPS courses this year are from the Bay Area, Southern California, Arizona, Chicago, Georgia and Florida.
