SILVAR Global Business Council Recognized as "Diamond Council"
SILVAR's Global Business Council (GBC) is recognized as a 2026 Diamond Council under the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Global Achievement Program.
The Diamond status is the highest recognition level in this program, which evaluates local and state REALTOR® association global business councils and is designed to recognize and reward the most active associations in global business.
Among the over 130 global business councils nationwide, all must demonstrate the utmost commitment to helping members capture their share of the global real estate market in the U.S., in addition to connecting their council and members to the global community in their local area. The Diamond status reflects sustained excellence, commitment to global collaboration, and leadership in positioning members for international success.
The GBC is chaired by Jimmy Kang and co-chaired by Mark Wong, and is dedicated to promoting global education, presenting global programs and providing networking opportunities for SILVAR members.
The Silicon Valley Association of REALTORS® (SILVAR) is a professional trade organization representing over 4,000 REALTORS® and Affiliate members engaged in the real estate business on the Peninsula and in the South Bay. SILVAR promotes the highest ethical standards of real estate practice, serves as an advocate for homeownership and homeowners, and represents the interests of property owners in Silicon Valley.
The term "REALTOR®" is a registered collective membership mark which identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and who subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
