The Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation is a trust which makes grants available to organizations from donations by its REALTOR® and Affiliate members and friends. We are committed to the welfare and prosperity of the communities where we live and work. Through our charitable contributions and member involvement, we strive to help create more productive and enriched communities.
The Charitable Foundation provides grants to non-profit organizations with special focus on the areas of housing, youth and education.
The Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation's "Day on the Diamond" softball tournament between REALTORS® from the 408 and 650 area code districts provide a wonderful opportunity for SILVAR members to help their communities while enjoying a friendly competition of softball and a catered barbecue. Proceeds from the event go to the Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, which makes grants available to agencies that help youth, disabled or disadvantaged individuals, and low-income families and seniors in the communities where SILVAR members live and work. The softball tournament proceeds also fund the Charitable Foundation's annual Scholarship Program, which awards a $1,000 scholarship grant to 18 graduating seniors from public high schools in Silicon Valley.
