On Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, the SILVAR Global Business Council hosted a special presentation with Feng Shui Practitioner and Master Dowser Jo Preston, who offered predictions for the Year of the Wood Snake and how numerology and Chinese zodiac symbolism are significant in shaping 2025 and the real estate industry. Preston stated that because the snake symbolizes transformation, this year is poised to be a pivotal one in human history, marked by transition, renewal, and global change.

"2025 is a time to release old habits, relationships, or projects that have run their course," said Preston. "Let go of what no longer serves us and clear the path for a new cycle to begin in the following year."

Citing clairvoyant Kelli Miller, Preston explained that she had major predictions in extreme weather changes in other states, a technology boom involving AI and communication, and significant truth revelations in 2025. She stated that government-related surprises are expected around February 17, with a power shift on February 20. March will bring news on agriculture and food solutions, potential flooding and volcano activity, and a global leadership change. July sees power struggles and unusual energy. A September lunar eclipse could lead to a global market and financial disaster, and September 18 may bring healthcare reforms. November is predicted to bring financial or environmental volatibility. December is seen as a healing moment for the US and possibly the globe, with debt payback.

Preston also discussed Feng Shui principles for home decor to promote harmony and balance, aligning with the year's themes of transformation and renewal. She said that like the snake, the color green symbolizes growth and rebirth and encouraged others to incorporate it into the home environment using indoor plants like pothos.

"Colors play a significant role in Feng Shui and it's a simple way to bring different energies into your home and life," said Preston.

Other practical feng shui tips include decluttering to optimize energy flow and enhance harmonious energy in the home. Preston said to be mindful of daily routes and routines in the home.

"You become desensitized to all the blocks and obstacles you have in your daily path," she said. "Over time, these obstacles can accumulate and create problems for you, so notice them."

Clearing windows and doorways is also important. "Your entrance represents how energy enters your home and your life," said Preston. "The front door is the mouth of chi. The entrance is the first place to start when you want to create good feng shui in your home."

Preston ended her presentation with an ancient Chinese proverb and said that by focusing on gratitude, personal empowerment, strategic planning, and spiritual growth, everyone can navigate the changes and create a fulfilling and successful year.

"Each and every one of us can make a difference," she said. "Develop an intention of what you want to create in your life."
