Life membership may be granted to those members of the Association in good standing who have been a member of the Association and/or one of the historical Districts for at least 30 years, and have reached the age of 70 years. The application requires approval of the SILVAR Board of Directors. Upon approval, the member is exempt from paying SILVAR dues the following dues year.
Requirements for qualification:
1. Have 30 years of accumulated SILVAR Membership and/or one of the historical Districts
2. Attained the age of seventy (70)
3. E-mail completed form to membership@silvar.org
Life membership application requires approval of the C.A.R. Membership Committee and the Board of Directors at its Fall annual membership meeting. Application must be received by C.A.R. a minimum of 15 days before the meeting to qualify for submission at that meeting. Once approved, the member is exempt from paying C.A.R. dues the follow dues year.
Requirements for qualification:
1. 25 years of accumulated C.A.R. Membership
2. Attained the age of seventy-five (75)

A REALTOR® Member who has held membership in the National Association of REALTORS® for a cumulative period of 40 years is eligible for REALTOR® Emeritus Status
The new REALTOR® Emeritus eligibility criteria are as follows:

Applications submitted in 2020 and beyond will require proof on one (1) year of service at the National Association level.
Service is defined as serving as an officer, director, committee member, federal political coordinator, President's liaison or regional coordinator to a country with which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement.
Application must be completed by applicant's local association.
