Chen thanked Trolan, the local REALTOR® association, and the 400 real estate professionals at the gathering. She noted their presence "shows why since 1988 CAREA has achieved great success by connecting together real estate agents, developers, escrow agents, loan agents, appraisers and property managers." Chen's theme for her term is "Will to Succeed."

"Success is a team effort. It takes all of us working together to reach our full potential," said Chen.

Keynote speaker Tom Tognoli, founder, president and CEO of Intero Real Estate Services, said his life and the success of his real estate company are tied to the will to succeed and the F5, the five key foundations to a successful life and business – faith, family, friends, fitness and finances.

"Once you get your F5 in alignment, everything else falls into place," said Tognoli.
