SILVAR Congratulates 2023 NHORA Santa Clara County Leadership Team
Milpitas Mayor Carmen Montano administered the oath of office to NHORA's 2023 leadership team.
SILVAR congratulated the 2023 president, officers and board directors of the National Hispanic Organization of Real Estate Associates (NHORA) Santa Clara County Chapter at their installation on Wednesday, held at the Mexican Heritage Plaza in San Jose. Representing SILVAR at the event were SILVAR President Brett Caviness, President-elect Jim Hamilton and Past President Joanne Fraser.
Milpitas Mayor Carmen Montano administered the oath of office to NHORA's 2023 leadership team, which includes Cheri Romero (Keller Williams Silicon City), president; Violeta Perez (Century 21 Real Estate Alliance), immediate past president; Martha Lopez (Sellingly), vice president; Erica Ceja (BRG Realty), secretary; Eddie Martinez (Chase Mortgage), Membership director; Natividad Ribera (BRG Realty), Social Media director; Karla Sosa (Bank of America), director; Sylvia Perez (Uhler Mortgage Solutions Inc., DBA eMortgagelock, director; and Annie Podesta (Wells Fargo Home Mortgage), director; and Yolanda Mateo (Keller Williams Silicon City), director.
Caviness congratulated Romero on behalf of SILVAR. He noted that SILVAR supports all multicultural real estate associations in their commitment to homeownership. "SILVAR is happy to serve as a resource for NHORA and supports the association and others who work for the advancement of homeownership opportunities for all who seek it in their communities."
NHORA was founded in San Jose 13 years ago and now has eight different chapters in Northern California. The organization's mission is "to be the premiere Hispanic real estate industry organization dedicated to promoting Hispanic leadership within the context of community building, commerce, and transparency in the advancement of sustainable homeownership."
NHORA serves its members by promoting and setting high standards of professional development, connecting with colleagues in the industry, advancing career development and entrepreneurial leadership, initiating relevant programs, services, business and networking opportunities and connections with corporate affinity partners. The association also promotes its interest through government relations and legislative efforts in Washington, D.C. Membership at NHORA SCC is open to anyone connected with real estate or who is committed to the advancement of Hispanic leadership and homeownership.
