SILVAR Congratulates 2023-2024 VNARP Leadership Team

SILVAR congratulated the 2023-2024 president and board of the directors of the Vietnamese National Association of Real Estate Professionals (VNARP) at their installation dinner held last night at H.L. Peninsula Restaurant in Milpitas. SILVAR Region 9 Chair Joanne Fraser and Global Business Council Chair Jimmy Kang congratulated VNARP President Trinh Wong and VNARP's leadership team on behalf of SILVAR.
San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan administered the oath of office to Wong and the other executive officers and board directors. John Yen Wong, founding chairman and chairman emeritus of the Asian Real Estate Association of America, was the guest speaker. He spoke about homeownership in minority communities and presented statistics on affordability and the percentage of Asian Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese and Filipino households that are "mortgage ready."
Joining Wong as part of VNARP's 2023-2024 leadership team are Will Nguyen, vice president; Mia Nguyen, secretary; Thao Le, treasurer; and Paige Nguyen, past president; and board directors Khang Truong (Marketing), Tu Tran (technology), Carl Chen (Education), Thu Tracy Nguyen (Membership), Binh Bui (Community Outreach) and Chistina Thach (Sponsorship).
A REALTOR® with GD Commercial Real Estate, Wong is a graduate of Sacramento University with a degree in Finance and Risk Management. In her message to members and guests, Wong said it is an honor to serve as VNARP president. She noted VNARP's mission of cultural enrichment, advocacy, resource hub, education and social responsibility (CARES) also aligns with her career and life mission.
Wong pledged to continue to explore new methods to benefit VNARP members and the community. She also hopes to further educate the Vietnamese community in real estate market and the many incentive programs for first-time homebuyers and investors.
