The Silicon Valley Association of Realtors congratulated Asian Real Estate Association of America Silicon Valley 2024 President Viral Vora and AREAA SV's 2024 officers and board of directors at their installation on Feb. 22. Representing SILVAR at the event were President-elect Tammie Peters, past president Jim Hamilton and director at-large Tracey McNeely. California state Assemblymember Evan Low (District 26) was the keynote speaker.

Joining Vora on the 2024 AREAA SV executive board are PK Patel (Global Estate Link), vice president; Chika Mori eXp Realty), secretary; Jessica Ceja (Coldwell Banker Realty), treasurer; and Thomas Feng (Bay Area Connect), immediate past president.

Vora said AREAA SV chose the Installation Gala theme "Multicultural Mosaics" to celebrate the diversity and richness of the community. The theme symbolizes the rich tapestry of cultures and backgrounds within our community.

"Each one of us brought unique perspectives and experience to the table, and it is this diversity that makes us stronger and more sustainable. With unity and shared goals, we can achieve so much together," said Vora. "Much like how the mosaics embrace the individual pieces blending together to create a beautiful, unified whole, AREAA Silicon Valley embraces the diverse and inclusive member culture to bring a thriving community together."

In his message to members and guests, Vora said he is focused on powering the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community forward. "Our priorities will include promoting economic empowerment, advocating for homeownership opportunities, and championing inclusivity and representation in all aspects of society. This isn't just about me. This is about us. Let's make 2024 the year our community rises together!"

Peters, who is also the chair of SILVAR's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee, congratulated Viral on behalf of SILVAR. "AREAA SV is a very active organization with whom we have had longtime friendship. SILVAR embraces all real estate associations who advocate for homeownership and inclusivity. We champion all AREAA has accomplished in helping the Asian American community achieve the American dream and are happy to serve as a resource for you."
