Palo Alto District Presents 2013 District Awards

SILVAR's Palo Alto District celebrated the holidays with a special breakfast, musical entertainment and recognition of volunteers who worked hard to make 2013 a successful year for the District.
Handbell musicians Larry and Carla Sue of Mountain View performed a beautiful rendition of the "March from The Nutcracker" and other holiday songs, with hand movements that were as exquisite as their music.
2013 District Chair Sarah Spang thanked members of this year's District Council: Jane Volpe, past Chair; Bob Stelzer, Broker/Manager Chair; Lee Smith, Local Government Relations Chair; Amy Sung, Education Chair; Jeff Beltramo, Tour & RSVP Chair; Joan Chintz, Special/Social Events Chair; and Steven Bealey, Affiliate Chair.
Spang and Volpe presented the following special awards to Larry Tringali (Property Inspection Service), Palo Alto District Affiliate of the Year; Bob Stelzer (Keller Williams), Palo Alto District Broker of the Year; John St. Clair III and Lydia Kou, Community Service Award; and Joan Chintz, the District's Social Events chair, was also recognized for her efforts in organizing the District's events this year.
Volpe then presented Sara Spang with the Palo Alto District REALTOR® of the Year award. Volpe thanked Spang for devoting much time and energy to the District this year.
