Los Altos/Mountain View District Holiday Breakfast
SILVAR's Los Altos/Mountain View District celebrated the holidays with a special breakfast at the Los Altos Golf & Country Club. 2013 District Chair Bonnie Kehl thanked everyone for coming to the special event and for supporting the District's tour meetings and programs all year.
Kehl and Executive Officer Paul Cardus then presented Hannelore Blanchard, a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker, the California Association of REALTORS® Honorary Member for Life award for being a member of C.A.R. for more than 25 years. Alice Nuzzo, a REALTOR® with Sereno Group, was bestowed the National Association of REALTORS® REALTOR® Emeritus for membership in the National Association as a REALTOR®, REALTOR®-ASSOCIATE®, or a combination of both, for a cumulative period of 40 years in one or more Associations of REALTORS®.
Kehl thanked members of the 2013 District Council and then introduced members of the 2014 District Council. Kehl and Joe Brown will co-chair in 2014. Members of the 2014 Los Altos District Council and the committees they will head are Trish Eby (Membership), Denise Welsh (Broker/Manager), Suzanne O'Brien and David Kim (Community Outreach), Kehl and Joe Brown (Tour Meeting Program), Barb Williams (Local Government Relations), John Woodfin (Affiliate), Susan Sweeley (Charitable Foundation/Grievance), Katherine Frey (Social), Dennis Bower (YPN) and Jennifer Anderson (Technology).
Members were then entertained with a beautiful rendition of songs by the Los Altos/Mountain View High School Madrigal Singers.
