Los Gatos/Saratoga District Gala Ushers in 2014 District Chair and Council
As is customary of the District, past district chairs in attendance passed the gavel on until it reached an elated Mark Von Kaenel, 2014 District Chair.
At the Los Gatos/Saratoga District Gala held December 19 at La Rinconada Country Club, Los Gatos, members celebrated a successful year and installed their 2014 chair and council. As is customary of the District, past district chairs in attendance passed the gavel on to the new district chair, Mark Von Kaenel, managing broker of Keller Williams Los Gatos Estates.
2013 SILVAR President Carolyn Miller administered the oath of office to Von Kaenel and 2014 District Council members Alan Barbic, Chair-elect; Karen Trolan, Past Chair; Cassandra Maas, Technology; Dennis Byron, LGR; Mary Kay Groth – RSVP; Ron Bonhagen, Speakers; Darrell Monda, Affiliate Chair; Jim Myrick, Education/Membership; Tia Frazier, YPN; and Eileen Giorgi, Special Events. 2012 President Suzanne Yost delivered the Inspiration Message. Jim Hamilton, former California Association of REALTORS® president and a member of the District, served as emcee.
2013 District Chair Karen Trolan thanked members for their support during the year, particularly the 2013 District Council with Mark Von Kaenel, Chair-elect; Alan Barbic, Chair-elect 2015; John Tripp, LGR ; David Tonna, Education/Membership; Cassandra Maas, Past Chair & Technology; Andy Tse, Technology; Mary Kay Groth, RSVP; Ron Bonhagen, Speakers; and Clayton Nelson, Affiliate Chair.
