Bocce Ball raises $4,000 for charity.
The Los Gatos/Saratoga District's annual Bocce Ball Tournament is always a festive event with good food, a no-host bar, and enjoyable networking among members and guests. The final frame of this year's championship match turned out to be a repeat of last year, with Coldwell Banker's "Earthquakes" and Intero Real Estate's "Team Mojo" vying for the coveted title of winner. The last few moments were again a nail-biter, as defending champions Coldwell Banker "Earthquakes" were in the lead, 4-2, against the Intero's "Team Mojo," until Intero's final throw knocked the Coldwell Banker ball out of its scoring position, allowing three points to go to Intero to win the match, 5-4.
More than 100 members and guests attended the event either as players, cheerleaders and onlookers. This year had more teams participating, as well. Thank you to the following teams for participating in this year's event: Alain Pinel REALTORS® – Saratoga (Bocce Rocks), Kevin Cole; Intero Real Estate (Team Mojo) – Bernard Galvan; Coldwell Banker (The CB Earthquakes) – Doug Evans; Integra Insurance Services (The Intimidators) – Ryan Fenchel; Montalvo Realty (Sons of the Bocces) – Ismar Maslic; Mainstream R.E.
