Los Altos/Mountain View District Pumpkin Auction Raises Over $3,000 for Charitable Foundation
Los Altos/Mountain View District's third annual pumpkin auction was very successful last Friday. With only six items, the District was able to raise $3,060. The proceeds will go to the Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation.
Although there were fewer items to auction off this year, they are grand. Each donor introduced their pumpkin. The items and donors were
Elaborate "Seussville" themed pumpkin village from Intero Real Estate Services Los Altos, which won "Best Theme"; "Huge Succulent Garden on a Cinderella Pumpkin," which included a $100 gift card from Nordstrom, from Campi Properties; a beautifully decorated centerpiece pumpkin arranged by Bloomster's from Sereno Group; "By the Sea" pumpkin with a $200 gift certificate to the Sardine Factory and Monterey Bay Aquarium tickets from Catarra Real Estate; a Half Moon Bay pumpkin and Pumpkin Witch decoration from Coldwell Banker - Half Moon Bay, and "Black Cat with Nine Lives," containing nine prizes, including an Apple watch, donated by Alain Pinel Realtors - Los Altos. The latter won the "Best Company Pumpkin" award and also received the highest bid, $1,400 from Joe Han, managing broker with Keller Williams Realty – Cupertino.
The District thanks all members who participated in the fun event, including Owen Halliday, who served as auctioneer, and organizers SILVAR affiliates John Woodfin, Nancy Domich and District Chair Katherine Frey.
