The 3rd Annual Cupertino/Sunnyvale District Ice Cream Social attracted over 100 members to an expanded venue in the SILVAR parking lot. This year's event added a popular photo booth and exciting drawings for prizes.

SILVAR members and their families enjoyed all kinds of ice cream treats. The star of the show? Vanilla ice cream in a cup - as always! Most members added sprinkles, nuts, strawberries, and/or sauce. Chocolate sauce was the favorite.

The photo booth also was a hit. SILVAR members took over 600 photos in less than three hours.

Members talked to their friends and co-workers and stayed for the drawings, which were held every 15-20 minutes. Prizes included bottles of wine, thermos and go-cups, Starbucks gift cards, etc.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and to this year's ice cream team, who spent several months planning the event. They include Alex Kasinski, Angelo Cipriano, Barbara Kuang, Eric Temple, Jim Carpeneti, Kathy Cochran, Kyle Chuang, Richard Miller, Sue Lee, and Thao Benioff. Special thanks to Kathy Cochran, who had to make an extra run for more ice cream to last the rest of the day.
