SILVAR President Denise Welsh Thanks BOD and Committee Chairs
Thank you for your service to the Silicon Valley Association of REALTORS®!
2017 SILVAR President Denise Welsh thanked members of SILVAR's 2017 Board of Directors and Committee Chairs for their service this year. Welsh said she was honored for being selected to lead SILVAR and appreciated their support.
This year's board of directors include Bill Moody, president-elect; Karen Trolan, past president; Phyllis Carmichael, treasurer; Chris Isaacson, Region 9 chair; Leannah Hunt, NAR director; Young Jacob, Menlo Park/Atherton District; Penelope Huang, Palo Alto District; Kathryn Tomaino, Los Altos/Mountain View District; David Hunt, Cupertino/Sunnyvale District; Mary Kay Groth, Los Gatos/Saratoga District; Jeff Bell, Joanne Fraser, Katherine Frey, Davena Gentry, Ryan Nunnally and Mark Wong, At-large directors; and Art Clark, Affiliate chair.

SILVAR Executive Officer Paul Cardus thanked Welsh for her service, noting she had truly stepped up to the plate, never hesitating to represent SILVAR on any occasion or opportunity. Cardus then handed Welsh a REALTOR® Own It Coin, a token of gratitude for her service.
NAR created the REALTOR® Own It Coins to "celebrate REALTORS® Own It Spirit - that when we take ownership of our associations, change happens, and when we each bring our unique gifts and insights to the table, our organization evolves." Cardus said the coin is supposed to be passed on to other REALTORS® who have served the association.
