Los Altos-Mountain View District Recognizes 2017 Achievements at Holiday Breakfast

At the Los Altos-Mountain View District holiday breakfast at Los Altos Golf & Country Club, 2017 District Chair Kathryn Tomaino thanked members for supporting the District with their attendance at monthly meetings and generosity at events and fundraisers, likes the bi-annual legal update and annual pumpkin auction.
From donations at the legal update members were able to raise $946 for Community Services Agency, a nonprofit group that provides social services, such as emergency one-time rent and utility financial support, vouchers for clothing, school supplies and food for needy residents of Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. The District raised over $5,000 for the Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation at its annual pumpkin auction.
Tomaino, who is with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, thanked members of this year's District Council for their help with events and inviting informative speakers to the monthly tour meetings. The 2017 SILVAR Los Altos-Mountain View District Council members include Greg Boudreau (Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage), Nancy Carlson (Intero Real Estate Services), Katherine Frey (Katherine Frey Real Estate), Alice Nuzzo (Sereno Group), Patricia Robison (Alain Pinel Realtors), Barbara Telesco (Golden Gate Sotheby's International Real Estate), Barbara Williams (Alain Pinel Realtors) and John Woodfin (EverBank). They will continue being part of the 2018 District Council, along with Richard McCaffrey (Intero Real Estate Services) and Tomaino, under the leadership of 2018 District Chair David Casas, who is with Intero Real Estate Services.
At the breakfast members were also entertained by the Graham Middle School Choir. Their musical repertoire included an array of holiday songs and popular hits, including "Fools Rush In," made popular by the late Elvis Presley.
