Team Intero Los Gatos Wins Bocce Ball Tournament Second Year in a Row

Congratulations to Team Intero Los Gatos, this year's Los Gatos-Saratoga District Bocce Ball Tournament champion! This is the second consecutive year that Intero Los Gatos has won the tournament; in fact, the team has won the championship three times in eight years.
Team captain Bernard Galvan was very pleased and proud of his team's performance. "Thank you to the SILVAR Bocce committee, specifically Audrey Hutton for putting on this wonderful real estate community event," said Galvan. "We, Intero Los Gatos, are very proud to represent our Intero family, headed by our office manager Stephen Slater and our CEO Brian Crane. We feel fortunate to have won this tournament two years in a row and three times since the inception of the tournament eight years ago. We look forward to defending our 2-peat next summer, making it a 3-peat!"

Keller Williams Bay Area Estates' Balls of Destiny, led by team captain Jim Meech, came in a close second. Joining Meech this year were Jim Myrick, Dan Sullivan, Rich Matlack, Scott Poncetta, Scott Perry and Kevin Barrett.
A total of 10 teams represented six brokerages and two affiliate companies at Wednesday's tournament. In addition to the Intero Los Gatos and the KW Balls of Destiny, the other teams in the tournament, their offices and captains included the KW Ball Breakers (Keller Williams Bay Area Estates), Ryan Nunnally; Compass Crushers (Compass Los Gatos), Heather Frye; Sereno Sliders (Sereno Group), Don Tornincasa; Sereno Group Los Gatos (Sereno Group), CT Harris; Montalvo Sons-a-Bocces (Montalvo Realty), Ismar Maslic; Climb Closers (Climb Real Estate), Sandy Sicsko; Title Terminators (Lawyers Title), Cory DeRush; and the Golden Wons (Golden One Credit Union), JaDell Schadewitz.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation. The District thanks all who came and supported the event! Thank you to all the teams who competed in the event, members who came to watch and mingle. A very special thanks to Los Gatos-Saratoga District Affiliate Chair Audrey Hutton, who organized and took photos of the event.
With this year's event concluded, Hutton is already excited for next year. "The bocce ball tournament is one of my favorite SILVAR events of the year. It has everything you could want - healthy competition, amazing food, networking, and just overall a great way to really get to know one another and just have fun outside of the office! Eight years running strong. Get your teams started now and see you in 2020 for our ninth annual tournament!" said Hutton.
