Los Altos-Mountain View District Celebrates the Holidays 2019
SILVAR's Los Altos-Mountain View District celebrated the season and the year's achievements with a special holiday breakfast at the Los Altos Golf & Country Club last Friday. Over 75 members attended this year's event.
Members not only enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast, but also listened to holiday songs beautifully sung by the Mountain View High School Choir. The high school choir sang "I Love You" in sign language and other songs in English and other languages. It was a treat to hear their talented sax player's rendition of "Oh Hannukah."
District Chair Greg Boudreau thanked members for their participation in tour meetings and programs this yeaar. Programs included the Spring and Fall Legal Updates and the annual Pumpkin Auction, which raised $5,005 for the Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation.
Boudreau also thanked members of this year's District Council for helping him plan and coordinate the year. They include Nancy Carlson, David Casas, Katherine Frey, Richard McCaffrey, Alice Nuzzo, Patti Robison, Barbara Telesco, Barbara Williams and Julie Williams.
SILVAR President Alan Barbic likewise thanked members for their support, noting he had a memorable year. Barbic strongly urged members to step up and be active at SILVAR because being involved in organized real estate would enhance their knowledge and make them become better real estate professionals.
