Silicon Valley YPN Celebrates the New Year
Silicon Valley YPN members and guests enjoy "New Year New You! Happy Hour."
On Wednesday, Silicon Valley YPN ushered in 2023 with "New Year New You! Happy Hour" at Water Tower Kitchen in Campbell. YPN Chair Selena Young was happy with the great turnout of members.
"We had rented out the upstairs bar and had about 45 in attendance," said Young. "Everyone enjoyed a couple of drinks while catching up in the new year!"
All SILVAR members are invited to attend Silicon Valley YPN programs and activities. Here is important information about YPN:
• YPN is the Young Professionals Network, a national brand, associated with the National Association of REALTORS®. Silicon Valley YPN services the Silicon Valley region.
• REALTORS® of all ages are encouraged to participate, share ideas and learn more about technology and cutting edge innovations. The young professionals have a lot to gain from seasoned agents in the field, and seasoned agents can gain valuable insight from the younger generation of high-tech agents, as well. This combination is a win-win for everyone.
• YPN's mission is to facilitate outreach and networking opportunities for local Young Professionals Networks, develop events for leading edge and innovative knowledge exchange, increase involvement in Association leadership, provide a platform for input on the future direction of the organization and support key policy and advocacy issues for our industry.
• YPN's vision is to cultivate future leaders of our local, state and national REALTOR® associations and within the broader communities; provide forward-thinking educational opportunities; work in collaboration with other REALTOR® networks; and generate unparalleled networking opportunities amongst peers and real estate industry leaders.
• YPN's long-term goals are to be a network that delivers value, continuing education and the highest level of professionalism; to be able to identify, build and be a source of support for future leaders within the REALTOR® industry and the broader community; and to play an active role in REALTOR® policy decision and advocacy issues.
