SILVAR Congratulates 2023-2024 FAREPA SV Leadership Team
SILVAR 2021 President & C.A.R. Region 9 Chair Joanne Fraser administers the oath of office to FAREPA SV's 2023-2024 Board Directors.
SILVAR congratulated the Filipino American Real Estate Professional Association Silicon Valley chapter (FAREPA SV) at the installation of the group's 2023-2024 leadership team held last Thursday, October 12. Representing SILVAR at this special occasion were Joanne Fraser, California Association of REALTORS® Region 9 chair, Jimmy Kang, 2023 Global Business Council chair, and Mitra Lahidji, GBC member.
The 2023-2024 FAREPA SV leadership team includes Anne Orozco-Ramirez, president; Tigran Bakchagyan, vice president; Gelda Angel, secretary; CJ Javier, treasurer; Mark Taylan, advisor; and directors Robert Balina, LJ Grossweiler, Dorotea Tuzon, Dexter Lat, Anna Truong Lopez, Dan Ramas, Divina Pareno, and Marlyn Silva.
William Chea, president of the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS®, administered the oath of office to Orozco-Ramirez and the officers, and Fraser administered the oath of office to the Board Directors. Fraser also presented a congratulatory certificate to Orozco-Ramirez.
"It's an honor to install the 2023-2024 Board of Directors for FAREPA-SV. SILVAR has maintained a special friendship with FAREPA from the group's inception. I myself have made so many friends since I participated in their first trade mission to the Philippines in 2018," said Fraser. "SILVAR is the National Association of REALTORS® Ambassador Association to the Philippines and we're very happy to have this relationship with you. We'd like FAREPA to know that SILVAR is always ready to serve as a resource for you."
FAREPA SV's theme this year is "Pakakaisa sa Pagkakaiba (Unity in Diversity)." In her President's Message, Orozco-Ramirez commended FAREPA SV's leadership team for their hard work and for giving her abundant opportunities to learn and also share her knowledge and expertise with them.
"I'm proud of FAREPA SV's successes despite the economic uncertainty during the past years. By introducing innovative programs, such as our bi-annual trade mission to the Philippines, Membership Program, Operations Compliance manual, and topics for professional development, and community outreach opportunities for the underserved," said Orozco-Ramirez. "Let's work together for the common goal and embrace our differences in serving others… In the year ahead, we will continue to create more meaningful and new programs and initiatives for our members, sponsors and the community at large."
FAREPA was established in 2002 with the mission to empower Filipino American real estate professionals by enhancing professionalism and unity within the industry and promoting the interests of Filipino American real estate professional globally through education, networking and partnerships while creating a unified voice within the real estate industry.
