2024 SILVAR President Eileen Giorgi and Board Directors Take Oath of Office
Meet the 2024 Silicon Valley Association of REALTORS® leadership team!
The Silicon Valley Association of REALTORS® (SILVAR) 2024 leadership team was installed at a special luncheon and reception at Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club. 2021 California Association of REALTORS® President Dave Walsh served as master of ceremonies and welcomed members. 2024 C.A.R. President Melanie Barker administered the oath of office to 2024 SILVAR President Eileen Giorgi and the 2024 officers and board directors. 2020 SILVAR President Mary Kay Groth led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Ryan Iwanaga, co-founder and Chief Experience officer at Christie's International Real Estate Sereno, delivered the Inspiration Message.
Joining Giorgi as lead officers are Tammie Peters, President-elect and Jeff Bell, Treasurer. SILVAR Board of Directors includes Jim Hamilton, Past President; Brett Caviness, Region 9 Chair; Denise Welsh, NAR Director; District Chairs Will McLennan (Menlo Park-Atherton), Alex Lewicki (Palo Alto), Katherine Frey (Los Altos-Mountain View), Sunita Merchia (Cupertino-Sunnyvale), Navneet Parmar (Los Gatos-Saratoga); and Directors At-large Alan Barbic, Jimmy Kang, Tracey McNeely, Stacey Woods and Suzanne Yost.
Giorgi, a REALTOR® with Christie's International Sereno, received her real estate license in January 1999, making 2024 her 25th year on the job. Giorgi has also played an active role at SILVAR, where she has served as a board director, member of the Los Gatos-Saratoga district council, chaired the REALTOR® Service Volunteer Program (RSVP) that helps senior homeowners with household chores they can no longer do on their own, and as trustee and president of the Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation.
Speaking to members and guests, Giorgi said, "It is with excitement and anticipation that I accept this role, and I am eager to embark on this journey of leadership alongside each of you," Giorgi said. "Let's celebrate our achievements, learn from our experiences, and look forward to a year filled with shared victories … Together, we will build upon the legacy of Silvar, fostering collaboration, communication. As we step into a new chapter, let's seize the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to our respective goals. I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I am confident that, working together, we will write another chapter of success for our association"
