SILVAR Congratulates 2024-2025 CAREA Leadership Team
SILVAR 2025 Prsident-elect Stacey Woods administered the oath of office to 2024-2025 CAREA President Mark Zhang.
Silicon Valley's real estate community congratulated the 2024-2025 leadership team of the Chinese American Real Estate Association (CAREA) at the association's gala and installation dinner held on October 17. Representing SILVAR at this special event were SILVAR Director at-large and 2025 President-elect Stacey Woods, 2021 President Joanne Fraser and former board director Mark Wong. Both Fraser and Wong are current members and past chairs of the Global Business Council.
Woods administered the oath of office to 2024-2025 CAREA President Mark Zhang and CAREA's incoming executive officers: Jason Wang, vice president; Wilson Chai, treasurer; and Anna Truong Lopez, secretary. Michelle Perry, president of the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS®, swore in the 2024-2025 board directors and advisors.
Zhang, a REALTOR® with Keller Williams, will be serving his second term as president of CAREA. Serving with Zhang and the executive board are directors Angela Wu, Jennifer Chen, Suraj Chatry, Miki Yang, Yuan-Sing Chang (Commercial Committee chair); Allen Chang (Marketing Committee chair), advisors Dexter Lat, John Luk, Sheena Chang, and David Bonaccorsi.
CAREA was formed in 1988 in the San Francisco Bay Area to promote the social and economic well-being of Chinese Americans actively engaged in the field of real estate. Regular activities of the association include both dinner meetings and lunch seminars, which serve as forums for feature speakers to discuss contemporary and critical real estate issues and for networking with other Chinese American real estate professionals.
