2026 SILVAR President Stacey Woods, Officers and Board Directors Take Oath of Office
On Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, the Silicon Valley Association of REALTORS® (SILVAR) installed its 2026 leadership team at the Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club. Vince Malta, 2020 President of the National Association of REALTORS®, administered the oath of office to 2026 President Stacey Woods and the 2026 Board of Directors. Brett Caviness, 2022 SILVAR President, provided an inspirational message before the swearing-in ceremony.
Newly elected Santa Clara County Assessor Neysa Fligor also made a special appearance to congratulate the leadership team and to thank SILVAR for being a partner and champion in advocacy for homeownership.
Caviness reflected on how much the real estate industry has changed in the last few years and how important it is for REALTORS® to remain steadfast in providing their clients with a personalized and seamless experience: "As we look out to 2026, we can agree that we're going to face some challenges, some bumps we're going to hit, fluctuations in interest rates. But what's really important to remember is that these challenges will make us stronger personally and professionally. Those challenges are exactly why our clients need us today more than ever."
Joining Woods as SILVAR's Executive Officers are Alex Lewicki (DeLeon Realty), President-elect; Jim Hamilton (Compass), Treasurer and NAR Director; and Paul Cardus, CEO and Corporate Secretary.
The 2026 Board of Directors include Past President Tammie Peters (Christie's International Real Estate Sereno), Region 9 Chair Eileen Giorgi (Christie's International Real Estate Sereno), Palo Alto and Menlo Park-Atherton District Chair Kaitlyn Liao (Compass), Cupertino-Sunnyvale District Chair Adriane Alston (Christie's International Real Estate Sereno), Los Altos-Mountain View District Chair Suzanne Myers (Intero Real Estate Services), Los Gatos-Saratoga District Chair Mark Miano (KW Bay Area Estates), and Directors At-large Alan Barbic (Barbic Real Estate Group), Sebastian Frey (Compass), Tracey McNeely (eXp Realty of California), Selena Young (Coldwell Banker Realty) and Board Attorney David Hamerslough, Esq. (Rossi, Hamerslough, Reischl & Chuck).
Woods is a REALTOR® with Compass. A second-generation Peninsula native with over a decade of experience, Woods has served several years as a Director for the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R), contributing to policy, governance, and strategic initiatives that shape the real estate landscape across the state.
Woods thanked Installation sponsors (full list of sponsors HERE), the event planning committee, SILVAR staff, and congratulated the 2026 board directors, committee chairs and district council members for volunteering this year. She urged all members to be connected to SILVAR through events and emails (like the Red Alert and newsletter), and to take part in actively advocating for the industry. "There's a lot [in policymaking] that's being influenced. What's in it for you? Your business and also your clients. Be completely aware and be ready to advocate."
