Members Enjoy BBQ and Chili Cook-Off at Linda Vista Park
Over 70 SILVAR members attended the 2026 SILVAR BBQ and Chili Cook-Off on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026. Hosted by the Cupertino-Sunnyvale District and the Los Altos-Mountain View District, the event took place at Linda Vista Park in Cupertino, and members enjoyed good food from The Art of BBQ and dessert from Kona Ice.
The remaining catered food was delivered to the following fire stations: Monta Vista FS, Cupertino FS, Station 1 San Jose, Station 3 San Jose, and Station 8 San Jose.
A very warm thank you to the SILVAR BBQ and Chili Cook-Off Planning Committee, especially Committee Chair and SILVAR Director Tracey McNeely, for a successful and fun afternoon.
