SILVAR members were out on the golf course on Monday for the Silicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation's 11th Annual Golf Tournament. The event was held at the Los Altos Golf & Country Club and enjoyed by 70 members and guests.
A no host cocktail reception was held after the tournament, followed by a BBQ dinner, awards and live and silent auctions. SILVAR Executive Officer Paul Cardus served as the Master of Ceremonies, SILVAR 2009 President Julia Truesdale Keady presented the tournament awards, and former California Association of REALTORS®® President Jim Hamilton served as auctioneer.
The tournament's first place winners were Ed Graziani, Chris Trapani, Michael Kang and Justin De SantIs. They received a gift certificate for a round of golf for four with carts at the Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club, a $600 value generously donated by Hannelore Blanchard (Coldwell Banker) and the Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club.
Second Place winners were Cindy Luedtke, David Luedtke, Jerry Moisen and Carol Moisen. Each player received a $75 gift certificate to the Los Altos Golf & Country Club Pro-Shop.
Third Place winners were Jim Hamilton, Gene Lentz, Connie Prince and Quincy Virgilio. Each player received a $50 gift certificate to the Los Altos Golf & Country Club Pro-Shop.
Julia Keady won the Putting Contest. The Long Drive #1 Men prize went to Nick Tudisco; Long Drive Women, to Tracie Suterland and Laurie Pireni; Closest to Pin #15 – Men, Ed Graziani 7' 4"; Closest to Pin Women, Connie Prince 31' 5". Each of these winners received a $125 gift certificate to the Los Altos Golf & Country Club Pro-Shop.
Alicia Nuzzo won the grand raffle prize, a two-night stay at Cottages at Little River Cove, generously donated by Cottages at Little River Cove and Dianne Vernon (Coldwell Banker).
