Festive Los Gatos/Saratoga District Holiday Gala
Gavel passes on to 2011 District Chair.

Members of SILVAR's Los Gatos/Saratoga District celebrated their annual holiday gala and passing of the gavel from 2010 District Chair Bill Rehbock to 2011 District Chair Doug Evans on Wednesday night at the Toll House Hotel in Los Gatos. The evening was festive as members networked and listened and danced to the tunes of Dean Martin.
2010 District Chair Bill Rehbock thanked everyone for attending the event, and then recognized members of this year's District Council and other members who helped with events throughout the year. In addition to Rehbock, and Evans, the 2010 District Council members are Cassandra Maas, Richard White, Chris Rasmussen, Laura Peterson, Ian Macrae, David Tonna, Stuart Campbell and John Tripp.
The highlight of the evening was the passing of the gavel from past chairs of the district all the way to Evans. Each past chair shared an amusing anecdote about his experience as district chair with the audience. Past chairs present were John Tripp (past president of the Los Gatos/Saratoga Board of Realtors), Jeff Barnett (1998), Dennis Byron (2004), David Tonna (2005), Brian Crane (2007), Ian Macrae (2009).
Evans then recognized and thanked Rehbock for his work all year. He said he is looking forward to 2011 and asked members to continue to support the district and council.
