Cupertino, CA – Members of the Silicon Valley Association of REALTORS® (SILVAR) showed their support for the 12thSilicon Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation Fundraiser “Chipping for Charity” by participating in the event and pledging $33,000 for charity last week. Over 125 REALTORS® and affiliates attended the event held at the Stanford Golf Course on Monday, Aug. 23. The fundraiser featured a golf tournament, putting contest, rookie golf camp, cocktails, a buffet dinner, followed by awards, a raffle, and live and silent auctions.

Seniors and the homebound who live on the Peninsula or in the South Bay may now request free assistance with such household tasks through the REALTOR® Service Volunteer Program (RSVP) for the week of May 3-7, 2010. The deadline for seniors to request assistance is Friday, February 26.
