SILVAR's 2024 General Membership Meeting began with President Eileen Giorgi and CEO Paul Cardus welcoming members and delivering reports, and later interrupted by overwhelming applause when Cardus announced that there will be no member dues increase in 2025.

SILVAR thanked this year's Board Directors, District Council and Committee Chairs at a holiday appreciation luncheon held yesterday at Los Altos Hills Golf & Country Club. SILVAR appreciates our 2024 member volunteers who in their various positions worked hard to provide the best meetings, programs and education classes for our members this year.

District Chair Navneet Parmar thanked members for their support year-round, including high attendance at the virtual Thursday @ SILVAR meetings and in-person events like the 11th Annual Los Gatos-Saratoga District Bocce Ball Tournament.

With the theme "Bring on Business," this premier event combined industry-leading speakers, expert education and unparalleled networking opportunities.

Silicon Valley's real estate community congratulated the 2024-2025 leadership team of the Chinese American Real Estate Association (CAREA) at the association's gala and installation dinner held on October 17. Representing SILVAR at this special event were SILVAR Director at-large and 2025 President-elect Stacey Woods, 2021 President Joanne Fraser and former board director Mark Wong. Both Fraser and Wong are current members and past chairs of the Global Business Council.
